In Case of an Emergency

With the closure of Emergency Pet Center of the Four States, many people are struggling to find emergency care for their pets. We are not a 24/7 Hospital but with the closure of Emergency Pet Center of the Four States we will continue to come in after-hours to help you, when we are available, if needed.

Effective May 1, 2022 Pet Care and Surgery Center will only accept after hours emergency calls from active patients (seen within the 18months before the current emergency) of Pet Care and Surgery Center.

What does an emergency visit cost?

Patients seen between:

Monday – Friday

5:00 PM – 10:00 PM: $120.00 plus treatment costs

10:00 PM – 7:00 AM: $150.00 plus treatment costs

Saturday – Sunday

7:00 AM – 10:00 PM: $140.00 plus treatment costs

10:00 PM – 7:00 AM: $150.00 plus treatment costs

*** Patients that are vaccinated by Pet Care and Surgery Center and are current on vaccine may be eligible for a discount on the emergency fees. ***

Are emergency services more expensive than services during normal hours?

Yes. Emergency services require one plus individuals returning to the office after hours to care for your pet. Just as the cost of you going to the emergency room is more expensive than a visit to primary Doctor, emergency care has increased cost factors.

Do you charge or accept payments?

No. We are unable to bill for our services unless prior arrangements have been made during normal business hours. However, we accept many credit cards and Care Credit which you may apply for online 24/7. Pets that require hospitalization will be required to leave a deposit at the time of hospitalization with the remainder due at discharge.

Call us at the number above so we may establish a time to meet you. If we do not respond within 10-15 minutes generally, please call or text and leave a second message. We may be involved with another patient or be unable to respond for another reason. We will respond as rapidly as possible.
